Parentfolk Weekender @ Camp and Furnace Liverpool
We had a brilliant time this weekend at our first pop up with Parentfolk in our home city of Liverpool. The venue was the indoor urban park of Camp and Furnace in the Baltic Triangle. If your not familiar with the area, the Baltic Triangle is home to a tonne of industrial spaces dating back to when Liverpool’s docks dominated global trade in the 19th century. Warehouses like Camp and Furnace would of stored anything from sugar to cotton.
Parentfolk are a North West based hip publication for parents, they don’t do average. With a free print publication distributed throughout the North West, alongside a diary of events. They are big on curating engaging and alternative content for families.
If your based down south, fear not Parentfolk are making their way down to you. Their exciting new venture will hit the South East in 2019, so keep an eye out on Parentfolk South East, for all their events in the new year.
There was such a buzz in the venue with the DJ bringing the weekend vibes alongside a tonne of activities keeping the little folk busy. There was screen printing from Square Pegs , slime making workshops, story telling and baby sensory.
We loved meeting our lovely customers face to face, as this is something we miss out on selling online. It was great to share the space with some talented folk and having the chance to have a quick chat in between to get to know the other brands. There were so many lovely people that we got to meet.
We definitely felt part of the Parentfolk community. What a way to start our pop-up adventure, in our home city, in a fab venue, with the best crowd. Thanks to Parentfolk and all our lovely customers.
Until next time.
